Enter The Poet - Factoring Justice

I am always hoping for life to be fair
Forever wondering does anyone care

Falling on my face and pulling my hair
Cutting through darkness at each lair

Breathing too shallow trying to get air
Doing everything with my own flair

Choosing friends, and not without err
Often the pain is more than I can bear

Hoping for credit for the things I dare
Quenching this thirst is frequently rare

Observation insists, this can't be square
I try to hold on and escape this snare

Frequently my hopes are laid bare
I hear the sound of failure and it's blare

I can no longer stand and fall to my chair
Seeking the victory only justice can spare

Viewing the reward even beyond the glare
The fall is quite deep and I avoid the scare

I must not stay, but I should go where
If I cannot stay here, then it must be there
