The Poet Enters

What good are powerful words with no one to hear? What good is common sense with no one to care? How can you build a world, while tearing it down? Why tell someone a dangerous path, is really sound? Why twist the words, and state that you are strong; When reality shows that the expressed words are wrong?

No one can force you to listen, nor to learn; but understand, neither will anyone need to explain how your life got messed up.

Relationships tend to go through their changes; but they always require your involvement and intervention.

What happens when you finally locate the real facts, then told to just believe and express your gut feelings which are contrary to truth?

Often, you are only as great as your last moment; what were you doing a moment ago?

Each day we take a breath and begin with a rise. We try to capture the day, and all that we surmise.

Sometimes people just don't understand; sometimes, they choose not to understand.

I often wonder what holds my world together; it's the people in it, and how I treat them.

There are times when we need to separate our feelings from our understanding; and that just happens to be most times.

Sometimes we forget, that our personal world, is just a part of everyone's personal world.

We all get caught off guard every so often; the real key is to be adaptable, within reason.

Even if you are covered by unexpected events; they do not change your internal qualities nor strengths.

It hard to move forward with a hurricane blowing in your face. So, if you can't move forward, then you will need to anchor yourself, and hold on.

There is nothing like being wanted; and there is nothing better than being wanted by someone you want to be wanted by.

No one cares more for you than someone who just realizes that they can't live without you.

You either grow in understanding, or wither from the lack of it.

The world is on fire, and we are watching it burn. We know the answers, but never seem to learn. We all need compassion, but none are willing to share. Sometimes the sorrow, is just too much to bear. So much information, so much to understand. Can we handle the load, can we handle the demand? It may be a tragedy, we are about to embrace. I don't know the answer; I'm just trying to state the case.

Things have to change, before they can be different; but different does not always mean better.

Times change and the scenery as well; it is important to be aware of the changes and their meanings.

Not everyone sees what things can be; but most seem to understand that it can't stay the way that it is.

We live in a world of hurt and pain; but it seems that no one is willing to employ a working solution.

Sometimes trying to have a smooth relationship is like playing a game, that changes its rules, just as you finally learn them.

Sometimes you warm my heart; while other times you just freeze my bones.

Sometimes no one else hears the music, so you will need to make your dance perfect.

Sometimes, it's not what I have spoken, it's what has been heard; where's my recorder?

Frequently I simply want just to have a nice day; often it just seems that other people have different concepts of nice.

We sometimes find ourselves looking for a place of solitude, and when we find it, it is often a very lonely place.

There is always only one moment; but we never seem to live within it.

I understand that I am not lost, but I also understand that, I haven't made it home, yet.

Sometimes I just need to believe, that you have the strength enough, to help save me from my own folly.

If I won't tolerate stupidity from myself, why would you believe I would tolerate your overflow?
