She likes to say, enjoy now, enjoy this moment; enjoy today. I reply, I want more than just a single moment and a day; with you.

We don't always have to war, nor do we have to fight. We could come to an accord, and set the situation right.

Enter The Poet - Looking Pass The Illusion

People say many things and then may do different things; I am just looking for the words and actions, which match.

Time waits for no one, and you always have to stay alert; find yourself sleeping, and you may find that most of your chances have passed you by.

Enter The Poet - Learning How To Mend Broken Things

Image
I sought to find comfort in your heart, but there was no space; It was filled with pain and mistrust, things you could not face.   I tried to soothe your fears, be all you needed, break through the crust. To mend your sorrows, bring down the walls, and truly gain your trust.

Enter The Poet - Considering The Additional Factors

Maybe there is no one to trust but myself; however, if that is true, why did I add these other people into my life?

Enter The Poet - With A Touch Of Alteration

We may be reluctant to changing, because we are afraid that we might lose ourselves; but, changing may be the only way we truly find ourselves.

Enter The Poet - Yielding With Time

Everyone may hear what you are saying, but that does not mean that they can or want to understand; especially, if understanding means they may have to change or adapt.

Enter The Poet - Walking In The Cold

People are defined by their actions; no matter what they may think, feel, believe, or express.

Enter The Poet - Repeating In 16 Million Shades

I am colored That is to say that my skin has color The world loves color, but it does not love me Color movies, color pictures, black and white movies which have been colorized But not people with color What is wrong with my color, do I have too much or too little But the world loves color, and it does not love me Colorful fireworks, color visuals added to music, colorful songs, and colorful words But not people with color What is wrong with my color, is it too dull or too profound Still the world loves color, yet it does not love me The world loves color on their houses, color on their walls, and color added to their eyes But not people with color What is wrong with my color, is it too dark, is it too brown The world loves everything about color, but not people of color I have color That is to say that my skin might have the wrong color al brown

As I tried to gather my moments, I realized there were many that I did not recognize; these must be the moments, I must have overlooked or simply disregarded.

Enter The Poet - Riding For The Long Relationship

Image
Hands reach, hearts pause. The distance watches, silent, untold, waiting to be crossed, waiting to be known.   The bond begins, careful, tentative, a dance of trust and vulnerability. The soul leans in, heart racing with the unknown, embracing what could be.   Each choice, a step toward or away from the ties that bind us, from the risk of being seen and known.

Enter The Poet - Riding The Long Moment

Time ticks, unyielding, pulling us forward. Spectators watch, like quiet shadows, echoes fading in the distance, safe in their stillness, unmoved.   The clockā€™s hands move steady, a calculated journey between moments and choices. The wanderer moves through days, heart racing with the unknown, trusting the flow of seconds.   Each choice, a step toward or away from what waits beyond the horizon of now.

Enter The Poet - Riding A Long Wave

The sea roars, hidden depths pull and sway.  The shore watches, safe in its stillness, quiet, untouched.   The boat rocks steady, a calculated journey between risk and reason.  The swimmer dives deep, heart racing with the unknown, trusting the pull of the tide.   Each choice, a step toward or away from what lies before us in life.

Enter The Poet - Uncertain Of Alternate Outcomes

The day never goes the way I want or expected it to go; but, does that make it a worse or better day?

Enter The Poet - Feeling Stronger In Knowing

Image
Feelings are an all-powerful force, The reason for what we do, how we do it, when. We cannot control them, nor avoid them, We cannot exist without them. We can only adapt, Trying to keep them within bounds we understand and can live with. We may lie about them, but that doesnā€™t change their truth. We can lie to ourselves, But that makes us unpredictable. We can lie to others, But that makes us unreliable. Feel what you must, But remain as honest as you can with those emotions. In that honesty, we become more dependable to ourselves, And more reliable to others.

Enter The Poet - Being All Too Aware

It may be true that everyone is not out to get you or to hurt you; maybe everyone is only thinking about themselves and in those actions hurting you.

Enter The Poet - Hoping To Emulate The Day

The Day is content with its actions, the rise, the progression, and the closing; in all these, it is perfect in its nature, I am not.

In reality, not all ideas are valid and may require more thought; let's hope the people in your life agree with that opinion.

If you really knew who I was, then you would understand me; and if I knew who I truly was, then maybe I would understand myself.

Enter The Poet - Building A Proper Machine

Some things change all the time, and some things never change; I want to be able to deal with the things which do not change and modify the things, which can.

Enter The Poet - Rescheduling The Fun

Image
Sometimes the odds are against you, in your everyday plans; we can't change the odds, but we may be able to change the plans.

The day awakes, and has found me speechless; there is no rhyme or reason for anything. The night approaches, and I will be sleepless; I am not prepared for what it might bring.

Enter The Poet - Molding The Essence Of The Day

Today is like every other day, until you create something new or different.

Enter The Poet - Looking Into The Horizon

Image
We may not always know what we are truly seeking. What's over that hill, or around the corner, peeking?   We must make up our minds, and choose a path. It may lead to restoration, or it may lead to wrath. We need to do more action, and much less speaking! Happy New Year!!
