Enter The Poet - Feeling Stronger In Knowing
The reason for what we do, how we do it, when.
We cannot control them, nor avoid them,
We cannot exist without them.
We can only adapt,
Trying to keep them within bounds we understand and can live with.
We may lie about them, but that doesn’t change their truth.
We can lie to ourselves,
But that makes us unpredictable.
We can lie to others,
But that makes us unreliable.
Feel what you must,
But remain as honest as you can with those emotions.
In that honesty, we become more dependable to ourselves,
And more reliable to others.
